Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ And Vijay’s ‘Beast’ – Who Will Endear To The Public More?
April saw a massive surge in earnings from two major films-‘RRR’ and ‘Kashmir Files.’ Both the films have been box office blockbusters and gave handsome dividends to their producers. However, two more films will be vying for attention, ‘Beast’ and Yash’s ‘KGF-Chapter 2’. The buzz around these two films is at its highest.
Vijay’s ‘Beast’ And Yash’s ‘KGF-Chapter 2’-Locking Horns
‘RRR,” which has turned out to be a blockbuster and break all records, is slowly waning in popularity but still going at a brisk pace. However, two films will be locking horns, and they are Vijay’s ‘Beast’ and Yash’s ‘KGF-Chapter 2’.
Yash’s ‘KGF-Chapter 2’ is the second edition of the KGF franchise, and Prashanth Neel has helmed both the first and the second edition. The KGF Chapter 1 was a larger-than-life introduction of Rocky Bhai, and the second edition will be even bigger and helmed on a grander scale when it comes to action and thrills. The KGF Chapter 2 also features Bollywood stars such as Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. The film will have a Pan India release and be available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. The flick is rumored to be about two hours and forty-eight minutes long.
‘KGF-Chapter 2’ will be released on April 14, 2022. The flick will also see Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in vital roles.
Coming to the ‘Beast,’ which will be released on April 13, the Thalapathy Vijay’s flick is an action thriller bordering on the edges of dark comedy. The Tamil film is written and helmed by Nelson. Sun Pictures bankroll the flick. Pooja Hegde plays the leading female protagonist opposite Vijay. Also rubbing shoulders will be a host of other actors like Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, and Redin Kingsley in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander helms the music score. The runtime of the film is said to be 2 hours 38 minutes.
