The Samsung Galaxy A24, which is the most recent handset in the South Korean tech giant’s A-series, was unleashed in Vietnam on Wednesday. Although there were already talks and sneak peeks about the handset, Samsung hasn’t stated how much it will cost in Vietnam yet. They also haven’t cited when it will be functional in India or other nations around the world.

The latest handset is offered in four distinct color options: Vampire Black, Lime Green, Burgundy, Silver Mirror. Nevertheless, solely the Lime Green and Vampire Black models are now public in Vietnam. As mentioned earlier, the handset is being offered in two storage options with only RAM capacity change: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. Although Samsung’s latest smartphone is listed on their Vietnam’s official website, the tech giant hasn’t disclosed to us how much it costs. Also, there’s no official confirmation about when the phone will be unleashed in India.
Samsung Galaxy A24 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A24 is a phone with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixel) display with a camera notch at the top of it. The display can get extraordinarily luminous, up to 1000 nits. The handset runs Android, but we don’t know which version exactly. It’s likely the most delinquent Android 13 with One UI 5.0 skin on top.
The handset also has an unclarified eight-core processor that goes up to 2.2GHz, but some earlier leak reports indicated that it might be a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
The camera setup on the back of the phone has three lenses: a 50-megapixel main one, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle one, and a 2-megapixel macro one. They are arranged vertically on the left side of the back panel in three circular slots, with an LED flash panel next to them. The front camera is 13 megapixels and is in a small notch at the top of the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A24 has a powerful 5,000mAh battery. Leak reports indicate it might support 25W fast charging. The phone also sports a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
The Galaxy A24 can connect to Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo. It also has a USB Type-C (2.0) port and a headphone jack.
