In the recent development regarding the mega project in Noida, the UP government has enhanced the investment markup by more than 8 times for the Yamuna Expressway authority. It has now been set from Rs 7,000 crore last year to Rs 60,000 crore for the Global Investor Summit due next year, officials said on Friday

In order to meet this target, officials said, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is planning to introduce many commercial and group housing schemes before this year’s Diwali. These schemes will include a group housing project on 75 acres of land over five plots, four fuel stations with CNG, petrol, diesel and electric charging facilities, and 15 commercial plots in Sector 22A. All of the schemes mentioned will soon be available for e-auction.
Additionally, the ongoing work on the Noida International Airport in Jewar and an Electronic City all set to introduce soon to the public are among key projects coming up in the area.
YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh said that all the introduced schemes for residential would be given at least 6 months to pay the full payment on the land. Earlier all the plots would be given to the developers once 10% of the payment is done on the land. Rest builders were allowed to pay in instalments in the next years. “There will be four plots of 12 acres each in Sector 22D and one plot of 25 acres near Sector 22A. According to rules, developers can utilise 1% of the land for commercial spaces,” Singh said.
Coming back to the four fuel stations will be constructed in sectors 18, 20, 22D and 28 (near the planned medical device park). YEIDA will also introduce a scheme for commercial plots near Sector 22A under the Salarpur underpass.
