Noida Sector 142-Botanical Metro Station Aqua Line to have 8 stations, to pass over Mahamaya Flyover

With the latest development, Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has approved its new route that will link the Sector-142 with Botanical Garden Metro Station. Back in 2016, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) prepared a detailed project report (DPR) of the latest link on the old route. Although later, NMRC was asked to submit a DPR about the route.

DPR will also be sent the to UP government for final approval. Earlier, a DPR was prepared and was prosed to a higher authority for constructing a new line parallel to the service lane of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway’s green belt. This will be a part of Noida Metro’s Aqua line.

As per reports, the new route will cost around Rs 2826 crore in the project. Six new metro stations will be made between Botanical Garden and Sector-142. Additionally, on sector-44 the line will pass from Mahamaya Flyover. 

It will also pass from the Magenta Line at one point, on this new station will be made. This will be the highest point on the metro route. By constructing the latest route, the officials are expecting around 2 lakh passengers on a daily basis using this line. In near future, the number is expected to go up The way the authority is planning to build the metro line in the areas, is commendable for all its dedication. 

The new route will also help commuters from Haryana and Delhi travelling to Greater Noida. Currently, people had to take other options like auto or bus to get to Sector-142. With the new development, people can access the metro from their own destinations. People living in rural areas or from Greater Noida destinations will benefit a lot from this route.
