But recently, something very unexpected happened to Nick as he got banned from the platform. Even though the ban is temporary and might be lifted soon, Twitch bans are taken seriously by content creators and audiences.
Nick was streaming Elden Ring, a fantasy fusion game about battling enemies and exploring.
However, while he was playing, the message that he could not stream anymore popped up from Twitch, and his stream stopped very abruptly.
It turned out all of this happened because of a flagged term that he used on his stream.
Live streaming platforms tend to have many terms and conditions to not upset the viewers and creators online.
Nick opened up about his ban saying he used the word, “Tranny,” which is banned from the platform.
“Tranny” is a contemptuous term used to refer to a transgender person, especially a transgender woman, or a crossdresser.
This is Nick’s first time getting a ban on Twitch.
