Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti 2022: The birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose, the great hero of the freedom struggle in India and who gave the slogan ‘Jai Hind’, will be celebrated as Parakram Diwas from now. Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa. Subhash Chandra Bose’s father’s name was Jankinath Bose and his mother’s name was Prabhavati Dutt Bose.
After graduation, Subhash Chandra Bose gave the ICS exam. In 1920, Bose finished fourth in the ICS’s merit list. He considered Swami Vivekananda as his spiritual teacher. He left his Job, returned to India and took over the responsibility of propagating the Congress in Bengal through Swaraj newspaper, Subhash Chandra Bose became the National President of Congress Yuva Morcha in the year 1923. Then General Secretary of Bengal Congress. In the year 1930, he also took over as the Mayor of Calcutta (Kolkata) but was arrested in the Civil Disobedience Movement. During the Second World War, he formed the Azad Hind Fauj with the help of Japan to fight against the British. His slogan ‘You give me blood, I will give you freedom’ became the famous slogan of India.
On 5 July 1943, as the ‘Supreme Commander’ in front of the Town Hall of Singapore, Netaji gave the slogan of ‘Delhi Chalo’ to his army. In 1944, his Azad Hind Fauj attacked the British and also liberated some Indian territories from the British. Subhash Chandra Bose was jailed 11 times. It is believed that Netaji died in a plane crash.
