“The Hon’ble Finance Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Ajit Pawar, rolled out the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana while presenting the budget for the financial year 2024-25.
The yojana aims to provide financial assistance to women in the state, particularly targeting those from economically weaker sections.
Under this scheme, women between 18 and 60 years of age will receive monthly financial assistance for their upliftment.
The state government of Maharashtra has allocated a budget of ₹2,000 crores per month for the successful implementation of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
