MrBeast Surpasses T-Series to Become Most-Subscribed YouTuber, Claims He ‘Avenges Pewdiepie’
The famous YouTuber, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has bagged the top spot on the video sharing platform.
Notably, the MrBeast has broken rhe record of T-Series, the Indian record label, to become YouTube’s highest subscribed channel.
Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson celebrated his milestone by taking to his social media platforms and making a witty remark that he finally “avenged Pewdiepie.”
Indian Label T-Series overtook PewDiePie in 2019 and, since then, it has been wearing the subscriber crown.
However, the 26-year-old young YouTuber at the beginning of 2023 pledged to overtake and avenge the Swedish YouTuber, PewDiePie.
At the time of pledging, MrBeast had 127 million subscribers. While the top spot taken by T-Series had a far distant subscriber count at 233 million.

MrBeast created history with his new record. Currently, he has a myriad of subscribers on YouTube, counting to 266 million!!
According to Dexerto, notably, in the span of just a year and a half, MrBeast has shown a remarkable turnaround by closing the gap of 100 million subscribers.
As of June 1, 2024, MrBeast has become YouTube’s most-subscribed channel.
Until MrBeast achieved the spot, it seemed impossible. However, his achievement seemed inevitable by breaking numerous records and pushing the boundaries of content creation.
His videos are quite famous on the social media platforms for their “intensity, featuring stunts like burying himself alive for a week and challenges where contestants must survive 100 days together for a substantial cash prize.”
Apart from making money on YouTube, the 26-year-old has also donated millions through Beast Philanthropy, his non-profit charity. He has helped numerous people in need along with his fans, friends and family.
MrBeast has also flourished in his other ventures outside the content creation world. His ‘Feastables’ chocolate bars were quickly sold out in Walmarts across North America.
In May 2024, MrBeast announced “the largest game show ever in history.” There he announced his search for 5,000 participants by offering a $5,000,000 prize for ‘Beast Games,’ his inaugural show on Amazon Prime.
