However the after-parties do tend to go a little wild, but that’s mostly under private parties. This time something hideous happened to a girl because of her participation in the after-party, netizens are angry regarding the whole judgment, read on to know all about it.

Louisiana’s Walker High School Video made news after a girl claimed that her scholarship had been revoked because a video of her dancing at the homecoming after-party had been shared online. The scholarship given to Kaylee Timonet for her 4.2-grade point average was later canceled because a video of her “twerking” became widely known.

Kaylee stated, “They basically told me I should be ashamed of myself and that they were concerned about my afterlife if I wasn’t following basically God’s ideals, which made me cry even more. I felt like my life was over.”

When Kaylee told her story of losing her scholarship from Walker High School as a result of a video of her dancing at the homecoming party, social media users reacted with outrage. Kaylee argued that her acts were only for “innocent fun” and even brought her parents to school with her to talk to the principal. Unfortunately, this did not result in a settlement. Social media users are outraged over the actions taken by the school administration.

Walker High School hasn’t responded to the criticism as of yet. However, despite the fact that a majority of people think Kaylee was not at fault, users on the internet are still advising Timonet’s parents to hire a lawyer and sue the school. It’s still unclear if the university changed its mind about revoking Kaylee’s scholarship.
