Greater Noida (UP), Feb 25 (IANS) – VVIP Uttar Pradesh secured a convincing victory over Rajasthan Legends in the Indian Veteran Premier League (IVPL) match at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex. VVIP UP’s strong batting display helped them chase down the target of 158 runs with ease.
VVIP Uttar Pradesh outperformed Rajasthan Legends by 7 wickets, with 19 balls to spare. The team restricted Rajasthan to 157/9 in 20 overs and successfully chased down the target in 16.5 overs. Co-owner Vaibhav Tyagi praised the team’s performance and expressed pride in their efforts.
Rajasthan Legends struggled with the bat, losing wickets early in the innings. Despite a late push from Gaurav Sachdeva and S. Sreesanth, Rajasthan only managed to reach 157/9. VVIP UP’s strong start to the chase, led by Bhanu Seth and Anshul Kapoor, set the tone for their comfortable victory.
Captain Parvinder Singh’s solid innings of 44 runs further solidified VVIP Uttar Pradesh’s position in the match. The team’s successful chase of the target has put them in a strong position as they gear up to face Red Carpet Delhi in their next fixture.
