‘Hi Nanna’ Movie Review

A father and daughter are invested in their own happy lives. They do everything together and are very happy in each other’s company. However, one day events take a turn, when the woman the father loves suddenly gets married to a different man. Will this affect the relationship he has with his daughter? Will things get back to the way it was? Will ego be the reason self-respect and confidence crumble up right in front of the little girl?

Viewers and reviews suggest that the plot line of the movie might be monotonous but it is full of drama and emotional scenes. It emphasizes a single parent taking care of the daughter, and doing a good job raising her as well. The background music syncs perfectly with the emotional scenes and situations presented in the film as well. Shouryuv made his directorial debut with this film and created magic, the narration might be a little too exaggerated with a ‘basic’ and a common plotline, but viewers stayed put throughout the film and loved it.
