For the upcoming Netflix series “Treason”, Charlie Cox has temporarily put away his Daredevil costume and entered the realm of British intelligence operations. In this series, He will portray Adam Lawrence, an MI6 member who takes over as assistant secretary after a Russian saboteur poisons the organization’s leader.
The five-part surveillance mystery Treason is devised and scripted by Matt Charman (Bridge of Spies), and it is produced by Louise Hooper and Sarah O’Gorman (The Sandman, The Witcher) (The Witcher, The Last Kingdom). According to the authorized summary, Adam Lawrence’s profession appears to be set after being recruited and developed by MI6. But when Kara, a Russian agent with whom he connects a convoluted relationship, shows up there, she forces him to reflect on each and every person in his existence.

This is what he said about the series when asked during an interview, “A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam, and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most.”
So we do know one thing for sure, we’ve got drama, love, action, mystery, and Charlie Cox all together in a package. Which actually does not sound too bad.
