Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November in India, because the Constitution of India was approved by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November in the year 1949 which came into effect on 26 January 1950. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is called the father of the Constitution of India.

After India’s independence, the Congress government invited Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar to serve as India’s first law minister. He was made the chairman of the draft constitution committee on 29 August. He was the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and is known for a strong and united India.

The first description of the Indian Constitution was told by Granville Austin to achieve social revolution. Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s lasting contribution to the Indian Constitution is a great help to all citizens of India. The Indian Constitution was adopted to constitute the country as an independent communist, secular autonomous and republican Indian citizen, to secure justice, equality, freedom and union.
